In addition to the flowerpots, Flowerpot Island also has a cave. Unfortunately, the interior of the cave is fenced just inside the entrance. The island is also a good place to see wildflowers in spring and early summer.

The flowerpots on Flowerpot Island are also clearly visible from the tour boat, so if you only want a glimpse, it's not necessary to spend time on the island.	The shoreline of Flowerpot Island is scenic, with large, lichen-covered boulders and the clear Lake Huron water.
It's sometimes surprising where trees can grow.	There's also a cave on Flowerpot Island.
